MALAYSIA is divided to West Malaysia. (States No. 1 to 12) and East Malaysia (States No. 13 to 15). As you may see from the states stamp above, some are with logos and others with man's head depicted the State's Sultan or King of the State (from Royal family). All together eight states have their own Sultan while other seven states have their Head of the State with different title.
MALAYSIA is a green land of about 127,250 sq. mi. with mountains cloaked in rain forest, huge plantations of rubber and oil palms, and sandy beaches. Its tropical forests are a perfect home to many wild animals and plants.
MALAYSIA has population of about 20 million people. It is a multi-races country with 45% Malay, 35% Chinese, 12% Indian and 8% of other minority groups. It is an Islamic country, but all kinds of religions are allowed and practised here, which is difference from many other Islamic countries. Hence, Malaysia is indeed a colourful country with different people, different cultures and religions.
MALAYSIA has a democratic system of government. Since its independence from British in 1957, it has achieved economic success and once it was one of the fastest growing developing country in the world. The advance landmarks of Malaysia can be seen through its new Kuala Lumpur International Airport, KL Tower (satellite building), Petronas Twin Tower (tallest building in the world), its modern railway transit, gorgeous tall office and hotel buildings, and most of all its currently under construction Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). Kuala Lumpur is the Capital and also the central of all government offices here.
